The management team for Carisbrook Technology Services share the responsibilities for operating the company as well as acting as principals in the three practice areas.
Robert Fernandez President and Owner
Mr. Fernandez began his over-25 year career with the IBM Corporation. During his professional career, he has been responsible for planning, developing, and executing complex management and marketing programs for technology companies. His tenure in policy level management includes personnel, compensation, equal opportunity, budgeting, planning, and administration. His many years of senior line management experience have been in highly competitive technology and telecommunications business areas. Mr. Fernandez's technical competencies include technical architectures, business process analysis, business systems planning, systems' design, and project management. He has significant industry experience in the health care, software technology, and insurance segments.
Mr. Fernandez holds a Bachelors Degree in Biology and a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
Peter Melitz General Manager, Operations
Mr. Melitz has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry in management, consulting and sales. Prior to joining Carisbrook Technology, he served as the Operations Manager for a Management Service Provider (MSP) that introduced into the marketplace a service based upon a new software tool suite providing remote monitoring and management of workstations and servers. Prior to that, Mr. Melitz was a consultant in private practice providing software implementation project management services to clients in medical insurance and port authority businesses. He also has been a business development manager for a firm that specialized in the implementation of storage and business continuity systems. Mr. Melitz began his career in information technology with the IBM Corporation where he spent fifteen years in sales, marketing, and human resources management. His varied jobs have allowed him to develop competencies in business systems planning, financial operations, systems design, project management, marketing communications, and human resource development.
Mr. Melitz holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
Robert Goodlett Help Desk Manager
Mr. Goodlett has over 10 years of professional experience. He spent several years working as a computer network administrator and then as an assistant office manager/computer network administrator. His work as a soccer instructor and coach taught him the patience and understanding that can transfer into many aspects of life, including in the workplace: knowing how to give your co-workers the tools to be successful and also the ability to discern when to use encouragement or disciplinary actions. His experience in retail sales has also helped shape his verbal communication skills in a professional environment.
Mr. Goodlett holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.
Richard Green Help Desk Manager
Mr. Green has over 6 years of experience in the technology industry. Prior to joining Carisbrook Technology, he spent time in the construction industry, which taught him the importance of balancing attention to detail with high production. He has also previously served on a management team in the retail industry with a focus on both sales and personnel which shaped his competencies in customer service excellence. His technical competencies include networking, project management, and systems management.
Mr. Green holds an Associates Degree in Computer Network Systems.
Jill Tydeman Project Manager
Ms. Tydeman’s career in IT Management began at Carisbrook Technology. Preceding her work at Carisbrook, she served in the administrative field and brings attention to detail in every customer interaction. Her previous experience in the service industry has created a foundation of client-focused values from which she fulfills and exceeds customer expectations. She has been responsible for coordinating both daily operations and project management, in addition to serving as assistant to Mr. Fernandez.
Ms. Tydeman holds a Bachelors Degree in English.
Daniele Fast Imaging Support and Client Portal Support Manager
Ms. Fast’s information technology experience started in the financial support sector, resolving customer support and software needs. Her approach to management is firmly rooted in balancing effective client communication and problem resolution with efficient business practices. Her previous experience in the retail sector has also contributed to her convergent thinking. Ms. Fast is currently responsible for a large-scale project focusing on Digital Imaging Systems, including one of the largest Picture and Archiving Communication Systems (PACS) in the world. Her experience in this field brings together cutting edge technology in conjunction with state of the art medical and veterinary education and practices.
Gretchen Bennett Help Desk Manager
Ms. Bennett began her career in the technology industry in the application development field. She assisted with developing Point of Sale software keeping the customer’s needs always in the forefront. This client-facing experience – along with further experience in the retail management sector – helped shape her personnel and administration skills. Ms. Bennett’s education background in small business entrepreneurship has leant itself well to Carisbrook Technology’s ability to adapt to clients’ shifting needs as well as changes and growth in the field of technology as a whole.
Ms. Bennett holds dual Bachelors Degrees in Marketing and Supply Chain Management.
